On 21st February, the students and teachers of Manisha International School celebrated the International Mother Language Day to pay deep respect and love towards their mother language which should always be preserved in one’s heart. Mesmerizing group songs were sung in different languages evoking among all the feel of love and admiration towards their own mother language. Recitations in different languages were narrated by the children and they were undeniably applauded by all. Informative speeches delivered by teachers in English, Bengali, Hindi and Sanskrit truly enlightened the audience about the significance of the day. The bright and colourful programme drew to a close with the inspiring & motivating speech of the Principal who instilled among all to keep the spirit of togetherness and belongingness ignited always in spite of the varied languages spoken by people worldwide. Thereafter the National Anthem was sung by all.
