Manisha International School echoed with patriotic fervour as the students celebrated the 69th Republic Day with zest, euphoria and frolic. The programme commenced with the unfurling of our National Flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem in unison. Soon after March Past was displayed by the four Houses of the School – the performance ignited within them the spirit of team spirit, leadership and unity. A spectacular aerobic exercise set the tone for the rest of the events. An informative speech about the sanctity of the occasion was delivered. The school choir paid rich tribute to our brave soldiers by the soulful rendition of patriotic songs. The students expressed their spirit of unity and secularism through the delivery of vibrant, colourful and energetic patriotic dances which empowered the spectators with courage, boldness and determination. The karate exhibition mesmerized all as the children showed their amazing skills of self-defence and confidence. At the end the Principal spoke to the gathering about the significance of the occasion and the role played by the constitutional makers. He saluted the efforts of the national leaders in building an independent, republic nation. He motivated the students to be the harbingers of a social change to build a new, better and strong India. The celebration ended with a Vote of Thanks.
