District Level Inter-school Mega Competition hosted by Rahul Foundation

In the ever expanding galaxy of Rahul Foundation, the day-long programme of 2nd December “Radiance 2K17” was a grand occasion to discover the scintillating budding youngsters of the Age. It was a great privilege and honour to host and present this District Level Mega Competition giving apt platform to all the same age group children from different schools of the district to unfold their hidden innate talents and get due recognition for their deserving performance. Different activities like solo song, solo dance & sit-and-draw for the junior wing and quiz and extempore competition for the seniors were organized in the spirit of fun promoting the ignited spirit of youth and exuberance. Many students from different schools of repute of the district had enthusiastically participated. The mellifluous voice of many participants of the singing competition rendering the devotional compositions captivated the audience and the judges alike. The tiny-tots dancing in elegant gliding motions on the dance floor with inexhaustible eagerness evoked admiration and laughter among all. Children captured their imagination and creativity on canvas with a riot of colours sending the message to keep India clean and to intake healthy food to keep ourselves clean and fit from within. All the participants of the extempore competition for classes IX & X equally put forth their enthralling performance. Students fearlessly expressed their views on every topic with good communication skills, clarity of thought and a tone well-pitched and clear. The judgement was based on the content, confidence, oratory skills and diction. The students also enjoyed the quiz competition a lot as they were able to enhance their knowledge through the questions asked. After announcing the rules of the quiz, the quiz master conducted the quiz in a very interactive way where every round was a mixed bag with questions from different subjects.

It was an exhilarating experience for all to see how the small children accepted the challenges sportingly and epitomized vibrancy and enthusiasm. It had been difficult for the judges to select only a handful from a mine of gems. The winners were awarded with trophies and cash prize of Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 3000/-, Rs. 2000/- for the First, Second & Third rank holders of every event. Certificates of participation were given to all the participants. It was a momentous day for the students who offered veneration and gratitude to the organization for giving them opportunity to express their talents.
