On 23rd February, the class XI students of Manisha International School arranged a farewell ceremony in honour of the outgoing students of class XII. The ceremony started at 2:00 PM with the warm welcoming of class XII students with flowers, mementos followed by a mesmerizing welcome song. The welcome speech delivered by the programme coordinators of class XI Deep Kumar Dutta and Shruti Agarwal instantly gave a conducive and relaxed atmosphere to everybody present there. The benign presence of the Management academicians was a blessing to the students of XII. Ms. Sushma Singh on behalf of all the teachers enlightened the students with her inspirational speech. The motivational speeches of honorable G.M Sir Mr. Krishnendu Roy & the Management Dignitary Dr. R. K. Jha also left an indelible impact on the students. The different solo, as well as group songs and dances, were well applauded by all. The Head Boy Ranajit Ghosh and Head Girl Shrestha Goldar thanked and expressed their deep love and gratitude to the Principal and teachers who had consistently guided them in the right direction throughout the years. They reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed hour difficult it was for them to go out of the portals of their alma mater. They handed over the lighted candle to the Vice Head Boy Shayan Sarkar and Vice Head Girl Ankita Kesh of class XI thereafter passing over all the school responsibilities to the next batch. Class XI took a pledge to function wholeheartedly in the future. Class XII presented a ‘Thank You’ card to the school that has nurtured them. The entire ambiance was filled with the sentiments of separation. The Principal showered his blessings and best wishes to the Board appearing aspirants and encouraged them to more ahead in life always with confidence and determination and positive spirit. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks by Oiswarya Nag of class XI to the entire school fraternity for supporting them strongly in this grand programme.
